Thanks everyone :)

Jesse: Good idea about calling it a site-building tool. I use wordpress for lots of sites and most of them are not blogs. I used to use Joomla a lot, but only have one client who would not be better served by wordpress. Her site is an integrated Joomla/Virtuemart monster. Joomla does have a much prettier backend though. hmmm... i think i've been at the computer too long. I will look out for you guys at wordcamp. I'll be the geeky one with the wordcamp t-shirt and laptop ;)

Hello Lori,

You've reached an inspiring level of simplicity and clarity on your business site. I work for a small ISP and we're doing some makeovers of our site currently, and it seems there is always so much unnecessary complexity and clutter to eliminate. Hope we can get it half as nice as yours.

I like how you've used WP for your site. I try to push WordPress to our hosting customers, especially non-techie folks. I call it a site-building tool, not a blogging tool. Joomla or Drupal are such overkill for most sites. We're having some success teaching intensive small WP classes.

Love the blog too, and I hope I get to meet you at Wordcamp on Saturday! I'm attending with my coworkers Diana and Westi; you can see us on the attendee list.

p.s. nice ajax comments!

The new site rocks - and I say that with total objectivity and lack of bias :) It was fun to help!
